Meg Connolly Riley is Executive Director of Soule Homestead Education Center. She got involved in adventures in agriculture through summers spent at 4H Camp Leslie as a child and teen. Meg is passionate about connecting people to their food, time outside and the life changing experiences that can be found on a farm. Meg was the Education Coordinator at Weir River Farm for over a decade and was honored to join Soule Homestead Education Center in March of 2015. She is excited about all the great things that are taking place at Soule Homestead as the organization celebrates it’s 25th year and finishes a major construction project at the barn. This new space includes bathrooms, a kitchen and 1,400 sq feet of additional education space. Construction may never be done on this 160 year old barn but that’s what makes this job so interesting! Meg is also a 4H leader and mom of two enthusiastic girls and holds a number of positions on local boards. She is currently the chairman of Plymouth County 4H Board of Trustees, Treasurer of Friends of Hingham Harbor, consulting for The Athenaeum School of Pembroke and is helping with the planning of The National Gathering of the Farm Based Education Association which is coming to Concord, MA in November of 2016.
