ABOUT THE CLASS
Meg Durkin is holding a Pop-Up Yoga Class for 3- to 6-year-olds at Hingham Community Center on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m! This is a great way to expose your child to yoga, which provides wonderful lifelong skills such as stress management, self-discipline, focus, and high self-esteem.
You can register your child here. We need at least 12 registrations by April 1, 2016 to make this class happen in order to cover the costs for holding the event. Register your child now and spread the word so your child can experience all of the benefits of yoga and have fun while doing it!
You will be reimbursed if we do not get 12 or more registrations by April 1, 2016 so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by registering your child now. Do it for your child. Do it for your Mom time. Do it for your Dad time.
Do it because it's great for everyone!
This class promises to be a great experience and will expose your child to yoga. Your child will practice fun poses, while strengthening his/her mind-body connection and enjoying relaxing music. Yoga can help your child improve his/her flexibility and balance, and is a fun way for your child to be active while building mindfulness. And after your child completes this class he or she will be so calm and relaxed you won't believe what you are seeing!

Here are just a few of the rave reviews people have given kids yoga instructor Meg Durkin!
“Meg has an awesome, calming energy, and I have been thrilled that she has taught all three of my children yoga. When my kids get stressed or feel out of sorts, they now have a useful toolkit of poses and breathing techniques that Miss Meg taught them, and they draw upon these to calm themselves and help them feel centered again.” – Mom of Old Colony Montessori School students (Hingham, MA)
“Meg thoughtfully tailors her yoga class to the ages and needs of the children in her class. From the first moment to the last, Meg engages the body, mind and spirit of each child.” – Gail Matern, Children’s Librarian at Hingham Public Library (Hingham, MA)
“My 4 year old has really enjoyed her yoga experience. It is clear when I watch her teach her younger sister moves and songs from the classes with Ms. Meg. It is a wonderful opportunity for kids” – Mom, South Shore Conservatory (Hingham, MA)
