All proceeds raised from this campaign will be used to purchase building materials to construct a small cabin for long-time Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) friend and trail-builder Marc “Cozmo” Cosbey, who has recently fallen on hard times with health and related financial troubles and is now homeless.
Marc “Cozmo” Cosbey is one of the original pioneers of the Downieville Classic Mountain Bike Race and Festival. He’s a two-time Downhill Masters Division Champion and he’s also a highly accomplished sailor having participated in five America’s Cups. He’s been a dedicated member and friend of SBTS for years and has helped to build and maintain the trails we know and love. He’s also an incredible human being and a friend who needs help.
Please participate in the betterment of Cozmo’s existence here on Mother Earth by making a donation towards building materials. We hope to put a roof over his head before the New Year.
And if you know someone who is a friend or fan of Cozmo or SBTS, The Downieville Classic, America’s Cup, mountain biking, trail building, the great outdoors and making the world a better place, please share this campaign with them!

“We made the race happen during fires, we made it happen with massive amounts of snow, and most importantly to us, we did it when others doubted. We did it because we love it, and because we love each other.”
