Sustainable Trails Coalition July 16, 2016
Hi All,
You have probably all heard the news!
"This just in: The Sustainable Trails Coalition’s bill has congressional sponsors and has been introduced in Congress! According to a release on the STC Facebook page, “Senator Mike Lee of Utah introduced the Human-Powered Travel in Wilderness Areas Act, S.3205, yesterday. It’s co-sponsored by Senator Orrin Hatch, also of Utah.” This is a truly monumental step, as never before in the history of mountain biking has legislation been introduced to revert the rules regarding bikes in Wilderness back to their original inclusive intent!" (July 14, 2016, Greg Heil, Singletracks)

Hi All,
We want to be sure that you are aware that John Bliss, former President of the International Mountain Bicycling Association’s (IMBA) board of directors, has joined STC’s board.
As Ted Stroll, our Co-founder notes: “We’re delighted to add John to the team. His background in mountain biking advocacy, his interaction with the federal-government and his considerable experience in the legal arena bring invaluable expertise to STC’s board. His addition is particularly well-timed as it coincides with our group’s introduction of the Human-Powered Wildlands Travel Management Act of 2016.”
